Cortex Lobes

The cerebral cortex has four major lobes, and the temporal lobe is one of them. Its responsibility is to interpret sounds from the ear and help in recognizing them. It also interacts with other objects and processes emotions, auditory information, and language. 

Medulla

This part of the brain’s main function is to regulate our life-supporting functions like breathing, heart rate, and swallowing. Being a part of the brain stem helps convey neutral messages to the brain and spinal cord both ways. 

Basal Nuclei

Also known as Basal Ganglia is primarily responsible for tuning voluntary movements by receiving impulses from the cerebral cortex. It is a subcortical nuclei group that supports motor control, motor learning, behaviors, executive functions, and emotions. 

Neurons

The brain’s main working part; conveys information to the other nerve cells, glands, and muscles within the nervous system.

Stereognosis

It is an excellent way to stimulate a damaged parietal lobe. This part of the brain is associated with the processing of touch and spatial awareness like sensory information. In a damaged parietal lobe, the patient is confused with right and left, has difficulty writing, faces language disorders, cannot draw, and cannot reach objects in space. Brain Structure

Axons

They are also called nerve fibers. The main function is to conduct sensory information to the nervous system from the sensory nerves. The information is processed, then acted upon.

The Fourth Lobe

The brain’s major part, known as the occipital lobe, is located above the cerebellum and is found behind the temporal and parietal lobes. It interprets information from the eyes and turns it into visual functions. The visual aspects like distance, color determination, face and object recognition, etc., are performed by the occipital lobe.

Alzheimer’s

It is a progressive disease, where the patient gradually loses the ability to respond to the surroundings and carry on a conversation. Alzheimer’s Disease is related to dementia and mild memory loss initially but gets worse as time passes.

Cerebral Cortex

It is the outermost layer and the most prominent feature of the human brain, which can be seen. The main function of the cortex is to integrate and consolidate information, initiate and coordinate voluntary activities.

Incorporate learning music, playing instruments, or languages into your routine to keep your mind fresh and young.

Play and Dance

Nowadays, you can play cards and video games, etc., with your friends online and even learn new dance moves to keep your muscles, bones, and brain toned up; therefore, if you want to have a healthy and young brain incorporate healthy habits and lead a long, comfortable life.
