Some days, you just don’t have the motivation to work out. You start to dread it and stay in a bed a few minutes longer because you haven’t slept well the previous night, or your body just doesn’t feel great. Why lazy days when you don’t have motivation are common and natural – don’t beat yourself up over it.
However, working out and indulging in some form of physical activity is an absolute must. This does not mean you have to go all out and do a one-hour Zumba class that requires all your energy. Instead, all you have to focus on is moving your body a little bit. You can always reach your body goals by indulging in easy workouts.
Here are some easy, fuss-free workouts for when you don’t have motivation:
Walking

Even though walking will not get your heart rate up as much as an aerobics class, walking around the block or in the park is the best way to get the blood in your body pumping. Instead of staying in bed or lazing around on the couch, walk to the coffee shop near your house and get yourself some caffeine. While you’re at it, walk some more so that you can get your daily steps in.
Another way to feel motivated while walking is by asking some neighborhood friends to accompany you. This will make walking a fun exercise for you while you catch up with your friends and stay updated on all the neighborhood gossip.
For days that you do not feel like staying at home, you could go to a mall. A mall is the best way to get some steps in without even realizing that you are working out. Instead of taking the escalators, make it a habit to take the steps. Moreover, if you have to take your car to the mall, park as far from the mall as possible so that you have to walk back and forth.
Elliptical

Working out on the elliptical is an easier alternative to running on a treadmill or jogging on the road. Not only is it a low-impact workout, but it can be really effective for days that you do not feel like working out. We assure you that this exercise will help you break out a sweat, and by the end of it, you will feel motivated and energetic.
All you have to do is walk to the local gym in your neighborhood and hop on an elliptical machine. You can place your phone on the machine holder and plug in your headphones for some motivating music to put you in the mood or even watch a show to help the time pass by faster. Since elliptical machines are usually set on different resistances, you can find the more comfortable intensity. This will help create an easy workout that will get your heart rate up so that the endorphins can make you feel energized.
