  1. Anything pasteurized is going to have much fewer health benefits due to the destruction of important enzymes and vitamins. We are a nation of nutritionally deficient people because of the preservative function of creating foods that may not eaten for days (or weeks) because they will do support bacteria growth over a long period of time and therefore are considered healthy and nutritious even after losing most of the beneficial qualities due to pasteurization and chemical additives.
